markpro font and headings pulling across jumbled

Hi there 

 

I am trying to convert word to PDF and some of the text is pulling accross jumbled. This only occurs on my computer as my college can do it on his and it comes accross fine. Using Markpro font. I have checked for updates, uninstalled and re installed app, checked fonts are installed but still no luck. any ideas?

    Where did you get this font? I see several possible sources, some legit and others not so legit.

    Also: How are you converting?

    Word has a couple of ways... the first is to simply Save As and select PDF from Word's export file formats.

    The other, if you have Acrobat installed, is to Save as Adobe PDF, or pull down the Acrobat menu and Create PDF.

    What you are showing looks more like what would have if you were going the other way, i.e. exporting a PDF to Word. Some fonts embed with custom encodings that do not play well in that scenario.
