Measurement disappears

I use the Measure Tool in Acrobat Pro.   I click the start ponit and the end point of a measurement then the position of the actual dimension line/text.  As soon as I click where the I'd like the line/text to be the whole dimension disappears !!   It actually still exists because when I try to carry out the same measurement, it selects the previous measurement but only shows it a as box (which I can delete) but the actual dimension is invisible.

The tool had been working fine for years until recently.

I have un-installed, used the clean-up tool and re-installed twice without success.

I've heard it may have something to do with where certain files/folders are located on my computer.

Any suggestions ????

Correct answer Eric Dumas

If you open the Comments side panel, do you see the measurements you took and their values?

If you right-click on a dimension line > Measure Preferences (or open Edit > Preferences > Measuring 2D) do you see any option that could explain why it dissapear? (White text, values too small....)

Same for Right-click on a measurement and select Properties...

Thanks Eric, you're a genius 😊.  I went into the properties and found the "opacity" was set to 0%.  Changed it 100% and it's back to normal.  👏👏👏
