Question

Merging Several Sheets to One Sheet in Acrobat Pro

Hello,

I am dealing with a lot of legacy drawings which were scanned.  These drawings were oringinally rollup drawings 34" high X 55" long to 34" wide  X 176" long.  When these drawings were scanned they became a multi page *.pdf file which contains anywhere from 2 to 7 pages.  Is there any way to combine multiple pages into one page?

Thanks

Hi @Tom27374223l5l5

Hope you are doing well.

Use the combine PDF tool to merge Word, Excel, PowerPoint, audio, or video files, web pages, or existing PDFs. Acrobat lets you preview and arrange the documents and pages before creating the file. You can delete unwanted pages and move individual pages from a document across the combined pages. Acrobat converts the pages of the various files into sequential pages of a single PDF.

For more info, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/merging-files-single-pdf.html and see if that works for you.

Amal,

You did not understand what I am trying to accomplish.  First of all, I already know how to combine multiple files into a single pdf file and this is rather easy.  What I would like to learn how to do, is merge the individual pages of a pdf files into one page.  For example, an old techanical drawing that was scanned.  The drawing was originally 34" high X 120" long (rollup drawing).  When this drawing was scanned a pdf file with three pages was created.  How can I take this multiple page pdf file and turn it into a single page?

Thanks

Tom

PS I cannot post an example drawing because this is propeirty information.  If you need clarification then send me an email and we can set up a MS Teams meeting and I can show you what I mean.  Thanks

Hi @Tom27374223l5l5

You can print more than one page of a PDF onto a single sheet of paper. Printing multiple pages per sheet is also called N-up printing (such as 2-up or 6-up). You can specify how the pages are ordered, either horizontally across the page or in vertical columns. Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-multiple-pages-per-sheet.html for more info.  and try printing this file Adobe PDF and check.
