When will the Adobe Reader with Microsoft Purview Information Protection release, so that we can use Adobe Reader to perform PDF label directly from Adobe Reader?

Received information that starting October 11th Adobe Acrobat supports the capability to apply and edit Microsoft sensitivity labels on PDFs. How about Adobe Reader? If we only have Adobe Reader, can we apply sensitivity label without install any plug-in?
