Migrate Adobe DC 2015 to a new computer

User got a new laptop. I deinstalled Adobe DC 2015 from the old computer and installed Adobe on the new computer using the key printed on the CD. However, when starting Adobe it wants a registration and then claims that the browser is too old(which is definitely not the case).

Back when the other desktop was setup there were no online registrations thus the license key was never attached to any online account. How do we get Adobe DC back up and running. We do not need all the new features and are fine with using  the old version.

Thank you very much for responding Amal. I could fix the problem by downloading and installing a patch from Adobe. In case you need it, I attached the link.

How did you get the installer? What's now known as Acrobat DC is not the same as it did when you got it.

You have to make sure you're installing Acrobat 2015, not Acrobat DC, as that's a subscription-based license now, which requires logging-in to your Adobe account. Your version should only require entering the serial-number and then activating it online.
