Must You Be Logged In To Use Individual Subscription ?

I spoke to someone in tech support and asked if I must be logged in to use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or can I work offline if I do not intend to store or retrieve from the document cloud. They told me for an individual subscription, you must be logged in online to use the program at all even if you are not storing or retrieving from the document cloud. Is that correct ???

Yes. Although it might let you work for a bit even if you're offline, but after some time it will need to verify your subscription and if that fails you won't be able to use it until you do.

"When you install Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat Standard DC, it is installed directly on your computer. The Internet is required to complete the licensing process on the first launch and every 30 days to validate your subscription."

I think it's much less than 30 days, but this is not public information, and it may not always be the same.

Okay, so please confirm if I understand this correctly:

  A) I connect to the internet.
  B) I open Acrobat Pro DC and login to my Adobe account.
  C) I can, if I wish to, disconnect from the internet. I can do my PDF work. I can save it to my hard drive.
  D) I re-connect to the internet when I wish to use the internet again, as long it is less than 30 days later. If it is more than 30 days, I have to re-login to my Adobe account.
  E) Under any circumstance, connected to the internet or not, if I logout of my Adobe account, Acrobat Pro DC will close and not allow re-opening until I re-connect to the internet and login to my Adobe account.

Do I understand this correctly ?

Yes, except for the 30 days part. It can be 30 days, or 3 days, or 3 hours...
