Question

My printer can print all the way to the borders but Acrobat won't let me

Hello

I'm having trouble printing a pdf without the white border around it. I know my printer can do it because when I print these same images directly from the windows photo viewer and I select "full page", it prints all the way to the borders. But when I try to print as pdf directly from Acrobat, it adds a white border around it. There is no white border on my actual pdf file, it only does it once I click print. I try all option but none print withou it.

Hi @user5128912

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

To remove the white margins, please try the steps below and see if that works for you:

  1. Choose Tools > Print Production.
  2. The Print Production toolset is displayed in the right pane.
  3. Click Set Page Boxes.
  4. The Set Page Boxes dialog box is displayed.
  5. Under Margin Controls, select Remove White Margins.
  6. To remove white margins from more pages, set the page range or select All under Page Range.

For more information, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/crop-pdf-pages.html

Regards

Amal

Hi there,

Make sure you have the application updated to the recent version 23.03.20244. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that helps.

If it still doesn't work, please share the print logs as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-print-logs-for-acrobat.html for further investigation.
