Hello @bankole_7299
I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.
Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20643, Optional update, Aug 25, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.
Try a clean installation using the Cleaner tool, restart the machine, and install Acrobat. For testing purposes, please create a test user profile with full admin rights, install Acrobat, and check.
If the issue continues, please provide the following information: the current version of the operating system on your device and the logs from the affected machine. To collect the logs, download and run the Log Collector tool. Make sure to select all log options and attempt to reproduce the issue. After that, close the Log Collector tool; it will generate the logs along with a log ID. Please share this log ID with us for further investigation.
Thanks,
Anand Sri | Acrobat Community Team

Maybe the file you're working on does not allow modifications like that. Does it happen with any file you open, including public ones without security?

Looks like you're using Reader, not Acrobat. What does it say in the title of the application?

I have the Enterprise Package. When I click on my desk top icon it says Welcome to Acrobat Reader. I have had and used the organize pages tool very often until today. What would have changed ? I even log into the on line account and choose Acrobat.

I had a similar issue. Check your Help/About... On one of my instances that looked like a limited toolset (without Organize pages), it turns out that I was in Acrobat Reader mode. In another simultaneous session, I was in Acrobat Standard and could see all the tools I should.
Now all you need to do is figure out why the session you launched put you in Reader mode--likely authentication or maxing out on the 2-device limit.

Hi All,
reopening this thread as I had the same problem.
In fact I first installed Acrobat Reader and only after I got the pro package from my company.
For an unknown reason, it continued to use Reader while Acrobat was installed.
I finally found in the top left drop down menu, close to the bottom of the list,
a proposed option "Install premium features on Reader" and
when I clicked that one I got a message saying "you have a pro license, wait while we upgrade your acrobat version".
And finally it is now using Acrobat.
I hope it helps others because it took me hours to find this solution.

Hi, thank you for your post, but WHERE is the drop down menu where you found that option? I have been at this for hours, trying to find a simple solution to missing the "organize pages" tool. I seem to be cursed with the same situation where although we have Adobe Cloud with Acrobat Pro, it refused to acknowledge that and will only use Reader. I am unable to uninstall it because we are not trusted to be admins on our own workstations, so of course I am unable to uninstall and reinstall Acrobat, which seems to be the fairly useless advice given in some of these forum responses from Adobe. But your solution sounds simple and makes sense. I just can't figure out wher eyou found the top left drop down menu with that option. I'm ready to give up and do all my work on my personal laptop which actually works, put it on a flashdrive, and bring it back to this work laptop that is USELESS. If the company is that worried about security, that should send them into pearl-clutching territory. Any help would be appreciated!

If you haven't found it: Open Reader and along the top there will be File, Edit, View, Sign, Window, and Help. At the bottom of the Help tab, there's Install Premium Features

This is so dumb, why on earth did Adobe decided to remove the ability to instal it via Creative Cloud, but instead only include it from a well hidden menu option?
Thank you foir your guidance, pal!
