Question

Need quick access to dynamic zoom tool

I use dynamic zoom extensively. I used to have it on a toolbar at the top of my page to click on any time I needed it. Now it seems like I can only access the tool by going through 3 menus (Main menu/View/Zoom/Dynamic Zoom).

How do I add it to my quick access toolbar?

Ubetcha!  I wasn't finding it either until finding someone else's post about it; so when came across this post, thought I'd take quick opportunity to pay it forward 🙂

To add the Dynamic Zoom tool to the Quick Access Toolbar in Adobe Acrobat, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat and navigate to the toolbar at the top of the application window.
  2. Click on the small arrow at the right end of the Quick Access Toolbar. This will open a drop-down menu.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select "More Commands..." This will open the Customize Quick Access Toolbar window.
  4. In the Customize Quick Access Toolbar window, under the "Choose commands from" drop-down menu, select "View."
  5. Scroll down in the left-hand list of commands and locate "Dynamic Zoom."
  6. Select "Dynamic Zoom" from the list, and then click on the "Add > >" button in the middle of the window. This will add the Dynamic Zoom command to the right-hand list of commands.
  7. You can use the up and down arrows on the right side to rearrange the position of the added command in the list.
  8. Click "OK" to close the Customize Quick Access Toolbar window.

Now, the Dynamic Zoom tool should be added to your Quick Access Toolbar. You can simply click on the Dynamic Zoom icon in the toolbar to access it anytime.

Does you use Acrobat with the new UI?

I also have the same question. I deleted adobe pro and reloaced it last week to possibly solve a different problem I was having, but now I lost all my tool bars. I've been able to repopulate most of my items, but the whole user interface is different and not having dynamic zoom on my tool bar is a huge productivity loss for me.

I fixed it by going back to old interface and the tools I want to use came back in my workspace. The new interface is so much less productive than the old one. I don't know how long they will support the old interface, but I am going to use it as long as I can.

What about SHIFT-CTRL/CMD-SPACE?

No CMD key. I am on a PC. I tried the windows key but it didn't work. I really want to get dynamic zoom on my toolbar. I don't understand why they no longer accommodate customizing the zoom toolbar. Previous versions were easy to customize.
