Need to have my colleagues e-sign a pdf and then send it to client for them to e-sign
Hi, I need help! I've tried almost every combination in Adobe Acrobat and I can't get it to work how I want. Here is the backstory: I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, and only some people in my company have Pro or Acrobat Standard. Only those two apps allow electronic signatures (with certificates, like a time and date stamp). I have to have my collegaues e-sign a pdf and then it needs to go to our client, and they e-sign it. If my colleagues don't have Acrobat Standard or Pro, they can't e-sign it. So I tried "sending document for multiple signatures" to my colleagues which allowed them to e-sign, but it locks the document and then the client (nor anyone else) can e-sign after that. I know I can add the client's email(s) for their signatories, but we don't always know who from their office will sign. If everyone had Standard or Pro, this wouldn't be a problem.
Does anyone know how to send for multiple e-signatures (with certificates) and then not have the document lock afterward? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks!
