New Adobe Acrobat Pro Update the WORST

Question

The MAIN reason I pay for this software is so I can add text to all the PDFs I have. NOT to have you add text within the PDF. WHERE is the overlay? For instance I'm trying to fill out a credit card authorization and "add text" is now "edit a PDF." I don't want to Edit I want to ADD. Trying to mark an X in the box is rewriting the information next to it. This is now completely useless. How dare you change the basic functions of the software I use every day with an auto update I didn't ask for. I now have to print out these documents and hand complete them. I may be cancelling because whats the point. Would love to know a fix.

To go back to the old UI click the Options button at the top left corner (Windows) or open the View menu (Mac) and select Disable New Acrobat.
