No longer able to download PDFs

I used to be able to use Acrobat to download PDFS for work with no problem. Now, the save button is greyed out. I have the $37/month Adobe plan. Tried updating desktop app and other troubleshooting steps. Help! I need to be able to do this ASAP for my job. Thanks.

Acrobat is not involved in the process of downloading PDF files. That is something your browser does.

So what exactly happens when you try to save those files?
