Question

No tagged bookmarks after combine files in Adobe Acrobat DC pro

In Adobe Acrobat 2017 (2017.012.30262) we can create tagged bookmarks after combine files, if we chose  "Always enable accessibility and reflow". It make it possible to delete bookmarks og pages simultaneously (see picture)

When we do the same in Adobe Acrobat DC pro FRL (2022.002.20191) it is not possible.

Is there something wrong in the Adobe Acrobat DC pro or is there a setting we don't know?

Hi Bo Damgaard26634265t7hf,

Thank you for reaching out.

We have checked the screenshots that you shared above.

Would it be possible for you to share the PDF you are opening in the Acrobat 2017 version?

Are you opening the same PDF in Acrobat Pro 64-bit version?

Share the current Acrobat version on the machine.

We will look into this and will update you with the correct information.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi

Thank you for answering.

The document contains sensitive personnal informations, so I can't share it with you. But the same happens with all documents. Yes I'm using the same document in Acrobat Pro 64-bit version.

Right now are we using Adobe Acrobat DC pro FRL (2022.002.20191) and the other version is Adobe Acrobat 2017 (2017.012.30262).

Would it help if I used a PDF without sensitive personnal informations and send it to you? One with the tagged bookmarks after using Adobe Acrobat 2017 (2017.012.30262) and one without tagged bookmark after using Adobe Acrobat DC pro FRL (2022.002.20191)?

Greetings,

Bo

Hey Bo!

Thank you for the information.

Yes, it will work if you share the PDF showing similar behavior on both versions.

Screen recording will be helpful for a better understanding.

Also, let us know if you initially created these PDFs.

I would also suggest checking the files with Acrobat version 22.003.20258.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
