Not enough memory while saving?

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro I converted 6 jpg's to pdf's and then combined them into a file. While trying to save them (both to my dropbox account and my external drive which definitely has tons of storage left) I received a popup that stated that there was not enough memory. Any ideas what may have gone wrong? Thank you for listening.

What happens when you save the file to the local disc?

Can you confirm the version of Acrobat and the Operating System you are using.

Please include screenshots to help us guide you to an answer.

The memory mentioned can be the system memory. Did you close all other application and restart your system to have as much RAM as possible. Is local hard drive with a lot of free space.
