Offline registration

I work for a big company and I am about to buy a large quantity of adobe acrobat to install on offline computers so I bought one copy to test it. It says I have one licence for acrobat pro but there is no way to download it so I tried to just download the install but there is no where to put my licence key. And the costumer support is just clicking around and around until you end up at a useless ai support. And when I go to my Adobe page I have the option to buy adobe. SO WHAT DID I PAY FOR?

Hello @BertA!

It looks like you’re looking for information on offline registration for Adobe products. Here are some steps and tips to help you with this process:

Offline Activation Process: If your computer is permanently offline, you must complete an offline activation within 7 days of the first launch of your Adobe product. This involves generating a request code from the offline computer and using an internet-enabled device to obtain a response code from Adobe.

Temporary Offline Situations:  If your computer is temporarily offline (e.g., due to travel or internet issues), you can go online within 7 days of the first launch to complete the activation and registration.

Internet Connectivity Requirements: Continuous and classic versions of Acrobat must connect to the internet the first time you install and license the desktop apps.  After that, classic versions can be used offline with a valid software license, while continuous versions need to validate the license every 30 days.

AFAIK, it's no longer possible to install Acrobat on a computer that's entirely offline.

The subscription version requires communication with Adobe's servers to validate it, of course, and the "classic" version requires at least a one-time activation, which has to be done via the internet. Adobe no longer has activation over the phone.
