I am trying to create a form that is submited by email.

I have a 'mailto:' action on the button, but only get the above error upon clicking submit.

I am on a 64bit Win 10 Pro laptop. I have the following action on 'Mouse Down' on the submit button.

"mailto:******@******.com?subject=Security%20Preparedness%20Form"

My email address is covered in this post for security, but everything is in lower case with no spaces anywhere. It seems from other responses that this is an error with Adobe coding and is a known issue. Anyone know a fix or workaround?

If I remove the email address from the mailto stetement, then my email client will open with the subject correctly entered in a new message, with the form attached, just needing a destination address. But when I put the address, any address, in the mailto statement, then I get the error.

Try narrowing it down. Remove the subject part of the URL. Does it work then?

Also, what exact command are you using? And it's generally better to use Mouse Up, not Mouse Down, for such actions.

Thanks for the response, but I already tried all those options. I initially had it set to Mouse Up, but since that wasn't working I tried the Mouse Down option, but still got the same response. I have also tried different email addresses, but it seems that the Adobe Submit Mailto function does not work. Is it limited to a 64 bit Win 10 Pro platform or are others having the same issue? Ideally, I need Adobe to fix it. I pay a hefty subscription each year for Adobe tools that doesn't make sense if their software does not work as advertised. I would appreciate any other ideas for a work around. This form is supposed to be distributed to everyone in my org in the next two weeks and so I NEED to get it working. Many thanks in advance.
