OS Yosemite

I'm not sure if Acrobat Pro X will work on that OS. I think it's 10.10.5. Does someone know if I'm gonna get in trouble upgrading to this OS. I upgraded my other MacBook Pro and all was fine except my Pro. It was the only program that didn't work. I don't want that to happen again. I need to upgrade my iTunes but it requires OS 10.10.5 or greater to install. If you know or can guide me to some info to what I can upgrade to without losing my Pro again, please let me know. Thanks everyone.
