Our website Joomla generates PDF certificates - how can you lock editing of text on the download?

Question

We are using Joomla to create/generate PDF certificates for members to download from their profile on our website. Is there a way we can restrict editing of the text on the PDF? If they have an Adobe acrobat writer or similar they can edit the certificate which obviously we don't want them to do. I know how to restrict editing in Adobe, but not how to do it on joomla since the file is generated from here. Any suggestions?!

Ask Joomla. Though tools to remove security are so widespread there doesn't seem much point. Certificates as FORMAL PROOF of a qualification is basically dead, since anyone can fake anything.
