Outlook 2016 crashes when making PDFs

There was a recent update to windows and Office in December now making a PDF with Acrobat makes Outlook desktop app crash. Requires a reboot to get Outlook back so it will read the *.ost file again. I tried a repair of Acrobat. The repair tool for Office 365 won't run on my Windows 10 Pro PC. I use the PDF maker in Outlook every day.Is there anything else I can try to fix this?

I had to call Microsoft. The fix was to create a new profile for me on Windows. It took 6 hours to fix.

Microsoft Outlook 2016 and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC had some incompatibilities. Prior versions of Outlook and Acrobat Pro worked well, but Outlook 2016 and Acrobat Pro DC would crash after some amount of RAM usage (usually around 500MB or so).

The good news is that Microsoft Outlook 2019 works with Acrobat Pro DC and does not crash. I've converted .psts with several thousand emails using this combination today.

Hello Sherry,

We apologize for the inconvenience, is it possible to enable the hidden admin account, and check whether the outlook is still crashing while creating a PDF?

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

I discovered that I can't print to an Acrobat PDF since the last Office UD either. That crashes Outlook too. All my apps are up to date.
