Output preview causing the PDF to zoom in on top left corner

I use output preview on a regular basis. About a month ago, whenever the output preview menu is open the PDF zooms in to the top left hand corner. If I click the box next to the black it will zoom the PDF back out, however when I click it again to turn the black back on it zooms it back in. It happens on every file I open. The only way to get the PDF to not zoom in on the top left corner is to not have output preview open. This is a real problem because we use output preview on a regular basis to preflight files for print. My Acrobat is up to date, and I have uninstalled and re-installed it twice to no avail. I would much appreciate a solution.

    If you are (or were) on Microsoft Windows 10, can you confirm if Microsoft upgraded your machine automatically to Windows 11?

     

    Also, does this issue manifests even you've repaired the installaion (or uninstall and reinstall if on macOS) ?

     

    Assuming that repairing the installtion won't do any difference, and if you are on Microsoft Windows, I would suggest to backup all of your files and then use a known-good Windows Restore Point to bring back your  computer to the working state it was before.

     

    If you're on macOS you may use Time Machine to restore the computer to known good working state of all your software.

     

    This way, it is easier to spot if the issue was introduced by an Windows (or a macOS) update or Adobe Acrobat update.

    I'm on macOS. I have repaired the installation. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice to no avail.

    I apologize, I should've posted this guide:

     

     

    After the software is uninstalled, run the AcroCleaner Tool.

     

     

    You've also mentioned noting this issue about a month ago.

     

    So, If the recommended procedure (suggested above) doesn't resolve the issue, and assuming that you've had the Time Machine app saving backups autonatically in the past, it may be worthy to restore a known-good  image (or snapshot) of a backup that dates back prior to 01 May 2023.

     

    If the snapshot that you select to restore your system contains an Acrobat version that was working OK, do not apply the updates that Adobe pushed during the month of May 2023 yet and report the issue using the links below:

     

     

     

    It may be possible that a bug was introduced during the most recent updates of May 2023 (but I may be wrong).
