I have been using Foxit for the past few years due to its extensive editing functions but I have moved to Acrobat as it now supports editing.
My issue is that when I zoom to page (Ctrl-0) whiclst in the middle of a doucment it does not re-center the page in the screen view and if I use the page down to nagivate through my document, the pages do not go down by a whole page (same with page up).
This is basic functionality which Foxit does with ease.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
I am not able to reproduce the issue at my end. Would you mind sharing a small video recording of the steps and the issue for a better understanding?
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20244 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Hi Amal
I have a workaround which is to go into the single page view. However, with this disabled (and scrolling enabled), the page down command does not go down a whole page.
I have added a view of zooming to the Page Level and then using page down to go through the document. The document does not go down by a page at a time.

Tony

Hi there
We are sorry to hear that the issue still persists. Would you mind collecting the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html , Procmon logs (Win Only) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud, generate the link, and share that link with us for further investigation.

Amal

I am facing the same exact issue - I am using Adobe Reader which I understand is a free product. But it should still work as expected. I press the zoom to page level button. And then I press the "Page Down" button on my Windows Laptop and it does NOT WORK. It slowly moves the page further down as opposed to show the full entire page 1 by 1 like it has in all other previous versions of Adobe Reader. We really need a true solution for this other than "Fix the Registry".
