An update just installed yesterday to bring me to Acrobat 23.003.20215 (Windows 10 machine). Now I'm unable to drag and drop pages between files like I was before. I use this feature more than any other feature of the entire program. I've checked my security settings and disabled protected mode at startup as well as enhanced security and still nothing. Am I missing something else that needs to be done to enable drag and drop or has this been removed completely in the latest version? Hopefully not removed as I don't want to have to direct my IT team to find alternatives to Acrobat. But if it comes to that, so be it.

Thank you for reaching out.
Try repairing the application. In Acrobat, go to Help> Repair Installation.
If that does not help, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.
If the issue still occurs, share the following information:
- Please confirm if youuseg the Organize Pages tool to drag and drop pages in the files.
- If you use any alternate workflow, share the steps with us. It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording.
- Check if this happens with a particular file or with all. Try opening a PDF saved locally to test and check if you can drag and drop the pages as before.
- Share the OS version.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,
I tried repairing and reinstalling with no luck. When I drag and drop I am typically opening Page Thumbnails and draging from one PDF to the next. I have tried this as well as going to Orangize Pages and neither will work.
Interestingly enough, I clicked on Disable New Acrobat and now I'm able to drag and drop like before. I clicked on Enable New Acrobat from View and then drag and drop functionality goes away. So there's some bug within the new Acrobat view that is causing the issue.

I have a similar problem since the update, although I'm on a Mac. I used to be able to grab the mini icon of a pdf file in the top title bar of acrobat and drag that into an email to attach it to the email. Now there is no top title bar and no way to drag and drop an open pdf file onto an email. I've now "disabled new acrobat" as well - the update just removed too many functions and/or hid them away where I can't find them!
