How do I change the starting page number in Adobe when using the function top/bottom text.

Example, a document of 500 pages where I want page 1 to be page 400, the next 401, 402 and so on?

Open the Pages panel on the left, right-click the first page thumbnail and select Number Pages, fill in the dialog and click OK.

Hi and thanks. It is not that function where the "tumb nails" change numbers but where I incert in the top/bottom text page number into the documents.

I can in that function start on page 3 and make that page 1 but I do not know how to make the first page as page 400 and show that in the top/bottom text.

Any advise?

Use the Add Header & Footer command, and in it click the Page Number and Date Format button and you'll be able to specify the first page number to use.
