paid for acrobat dc std, why do I have a trial version

Now that I have bit the bullet and paid for DC std, why did a trial version end up downloading. This is very frustrating!

Who did you purchase it from? Did you buy a perpetual license, or a subscription?

Where did you get the link to the download from?

Bought the subscription, paid monthly, downloaded from the adobe website.

Did you login to Adobe from within Acrobat with your Adobe ID such that it could associate your installation with your paid subscription? If you don't do that, the software will continue to look like a trial.

PS: There is no difference between the “trial” and fully licensed software other than that it runs in trial mode until you activate the software.
