Pdf a word document, the left margin is moved to the left.

When I pdf a word document, the left margin is moved to the left. Company letter layout has a blue triangle in the top left cormer. There should be no white strip between the edge and this blue triangle

The preview in Word does not show any white strip. but when the pdf is shown on screen it does!. It gets even worse when I print. Not only the left margin is moved, also the top margin is moved. As a result I have a white strip on th eleft and the top,

How to solve?
