pdf is not showing digital signature popup window...acrobat dc

I have a pdf file. I want to embed digital signature but when clicked on the box it does nothing at all

Hi Jaym,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

If I understand correctly, that you have not been able to add the digital signature to the pdf? Have you created a Digital Signature earlier or it was there but you have not been able to see it for this specific pdf?

You may first create a Digital ID- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/digital-ids.html

And if its already there then you may check whether it is listed under the "Signature" in Acrobat's preferences or not?

If its listed under the Signature preferences in this case, you may follow the troubleshooting steps (referred to older version) suggested in the help article here- Can't find digital signature (Sign and Send PDFs)  and check back.

This doesn't solve the problem.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It's intermittent. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2021.007.

When I click on the Digitally Sign button and after selecting the area where the digital sig will appear, no dialog box appears. The background just remains dark-gray. Normally it would show a dialog box for you to select which digital ID to use. However, this doesn't appear. Therefore, I am not able to affix my digital signature.

Most of the time, it requires me to relogin or reboot my PC for this to work again. Which is annoying.

As mentioned, this problem occurs intermittently. Most of the time my digital signature works fine, but sometimes it doesn't.

Please provide a permanent fix.
