PDF OUTLOOK LINK NOT OPENING

Hello, I have a link in my email to a PDF that sits in SharePoint. Last week this link opened my .pdf in Adobe just fine, and this week it is not opening at all from the link in my email, no error message, nothing. If I put the link in a word document the link works just fine or if I copy paste it to internet exlporer it works. Can you tell me how to get it to work from outlook again?

Hello @Chris33986259m3qw no issue is not resolved. Apparently Microsoft removed the functionality with the updates they did, i believe in august time frame.

We do have a workaround. Users have to copy the link from the email and paste it in file exporer for it to open and check out in pdf.

Thats frustrating re Microsoft changing something that previously woked well.

Hi

Did you ever get a fix to this.

We want to open up links to PDFs that are saved in Sharepoint in the Adobe app because these are files that need signing, however its always launching in the web browser.

Any advice on how you set yours up to work would be greatly received.
