PDF prints out in Landscape mode even tho my printer is in portrait mode

Guys, I just had the same exact problem and as I have a very serious event tomorrow, I needed to print correctly.

Here is what worked for me…

When you press the print button, EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS PORTRAIT, it will print differently if you don’t have Page Sizing & Handling set properly. Mine was set to Poster as I was doing things that needed that setting and didn’t change it back.

Just click the SIZE button under Page Sizing & Handling and try Shrink oversized Pages. That worked for me. You may have to mess with that area a bit, but MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN “SIZE” AND NOT “POSTER”, “MULTIPLE”, “or “BOOKLET”

Hope this helps someone freaking out like I was.

From Publisher (if you haven't tried this yet), try a Save as, and choose PDF as the file format.  I just did this and ended up with a properly-oriented PDF version.  Printing to PDF, if that is how you were making the PDF earlier, can be troublesome in many cases, in my experience.

Please refer to this KB doc. for help Print horizontal or vertical pages | Acrobat, Reader, make sure that you manually choose the Portrait option in the Page Setup dialog box while printing the documents.
