I have a problem with a PDfF file that I want to be locked  for others so that it can't be copied and pasted into other documents. As it is now, even thouugh I have used the protect tool, the file can be opened in a new window. It will then be like a normal web page. The watermark disappears. Can be copied and pasted into other documents.

What app does you use to open the file?

As far as I've understood (I'm helping out my brother) it opens from a window server in an Intranet. When the file opens up in acrobat reader (?) in a new tab it will then be like a normal web page, the watermark disappears an it can be copied and pasted into other documents as I mentioned before

Here are two print screens, the first from the file opened as a new page and the second a copy directly from the opened PDF. Both are CntrlC CntrlV in a Word document.

Your brother should open the file in Acrobat Reader, not in a web browser.
