PDF (schreibschutz) als PDF drucken (Mac) mit PDF Printer App

Hallo. Ich nutze einen PDF printer auf um eine schreibgeschützte PDF als PDF zu drucken. Ich gehe auf drucken und wähle den Drucker aus. Anschließend öffnet acrobat dann die gedruckte pdf wieder. Das machen ich, da die PDF zu groß zum versenden per email ist und ich diese verkleinern möchte. Bis vor kurzem funktionierte mein Weg noch reibungslos. Jetzt wird mir nach dem Drucken die Datei als leere Seite gedruckt bzw in Acrobat angezeigt. Mit einer nicht schreibgeschützten Datei funktioniert es weiterhin. Das Problem besteht nur auf IOS. Auf meinem Windowsrechner, kann ich das weiterhin machen.

Ich hoffe, dass jemand eine Idee hat.

@nikolai_5564 Your PC and MAC may have different settings and permissions, so I would look at that for sure; Secondly, did you recently updated Acrobat, or when was the last time you updated Acrobat. Could it me that the specific PDF printer driver app on your Mac (rather than the built-in iOS print-to-PDF feature), there could be a problem with that driver?

Has it always been an issue with your Macs only? Could it be not enough RAM or processing power of your MAC? If the original PDF is exceptionally large or complex, the print-to-PDF process might be failing due to insufficient resources on the device?

Hello and thank you for your answers and IDs. So...on to the details. My Mac is the latest MacBook Pro and I think it has enough power. The problem only occurred recently. Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint the exact time period, as I only have to print the protected PDF every three months for work. Most recently in November. So I can't say whether there was an Acrobat iOS update. I updated the iOS operating system, but after that the problem occurred. The PDF printer app works perfectly normally with an unprotected PDF, just not with a protected one. I do the following here...I open the file with Acrobat...go to print and select the PDF printer. After about 4 seconds...the printed file also appears in Acrobat. I can then save it to the folder I want. Now the file is printed in white...
But the file is about 4 MB...so there must be something there, right?

Thanks for reaching out with your question. Could you explain what you wrote in the initial post: "The problem exists only on IOS." We don't provide the "PDF Printer" on iOS devices.

Hallo. Ich meine diesen Beitrag. Ich nutze wie oben in Bildern zu sehen ist, Diese PDF Drucker app. Erste Frage, warum bietet Ihr PDF drucken nicht bei IOs an? Hoffe Sie haben eine Erklärung, warum das nicht mehr funktioniert. Wenn ich die schreibgeschützte PDF mit Safari öffne und dann auf "als PDF drucken" gehen...klappt es. Leider kann ich nicht genau sagen, ab welchem Zeitraum es in Acrobat nicht mehr funktionierte. Glaube im November 2024 ging es noch. Hier hatte ich das pdf drucken zuletzt verwendet.
