pdf thumbnails

Some of the pdf thumbnails on desktop and windows explorer are appearing dark, not black, but dark. Rest of the pdf thumbnail appear normal.

I am attaching a screen-shot of my desktop to show you the issue. The left pdf thumbnail is showig dark areas while the right side pdf thumbnail is normal. I have been having this issue for more than a year. I have Windows10 and using Adobe Acrobat XI Propdf.jpg

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.

 

As per your description above, you are using Adobe Acrobat XI to view the PDFs and some of the PDF thumbnails appear dark on the desktop.

Would like to info you that Acrobat XI is an old and unsupported application. It is also not compatible with window 10.

You may or may not experience issues with Acrobat XI on Windows 10.

 

Just to test, use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as a default PDF viewer on your machine and check if you still get the same result. Ensure that you sign out of the Acrobat application and set reader DC as the default application to open PDF on Windows.

Adobe Reader DC has solved the issue.
But why does Adobe Acrobat XI Pro give me the problem. Is there any way of solving this issue.

I use Adobe Acrobat XI Pro because of its better editing capabilities, as compared to Adobe Reader DC.
