PDF to Excel export

Version 24.001.20643 Adobe Acrobat

I have always been able to open a PDF, right click and export to word or excel, etc. When I do this now, only garbled information is exported. I export bank and investment statements into excel. Please help, I have no idea what I have done to create this problem.
