Hi @Guest 1351

Thank you for reporting this to us.

This issue has already been reported as a bug. Our engineering team is working on the fix, which will be fixed with the following possible update.

As a workaround, for now

Click "Edit" > "Preferences..." > Security (Enhanced) > uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" and "Run in AppContainer.">Ok

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi @Riccardo Piga,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

There could be multiple reasons why the conversion fails. PDF/A would require all fonts to be embedded in the document, no multi-layer objects. That being said, you can try the below steps:

Check the PDF for Corruption-

  • Try opening the PDF in Acrobat and saving it as a new PDF (File > Save As > PDF).

  • If that doesn't work, print the document to the Adobe PDF printer and use the new file for PDF/A conversion.

Flatten Transparency and Layers

  • PDFs with complex layers or transparency effects can cause conversion errors.

  • Try Print Production > Flatten Transparency and save the file before conversion.

Check for Invalid Objects or Fonts

  • Some embedded fonts or objects may cause issues.

  • Run Preflight > Analyze to detect font problems and try embedding or replacing the fonts.

Let us know if this works for you.

Regards,
Souvik.
