PDFs not opening in Acrobat

Hi, I have PDFs that will not open in Acrobat but will in Microsoft Edge.  All the failures have the security message in Properties: 'This file came from another computer and might be locked to help protect this computer'. When I click unblock I get an error message: 'An error occurred while applying attributes to the file....The system cannot find the file specified'.

 

I have recently changed set up: new PC, One Drive to Dropbox and move to windows 11. I have purchased acrobat Pro but cannot use it! Please help!

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

 

When you see the error message for the locked files, are the files stored in any cloud storage or on external drives?

 

When using Dropbox, you might want to use the connector on Acrobat to directly access the files through the application rather than opening them on web and then moving to Acrobat app.
