Correct answer Barb Binder

After you draw with the Pencil, right click the line that you drew > Properties. Set up the appearance (thickness, color, opacity) and click the checkbox for Make current properties the default if you want this to be a permanent change.

How do I erase the pencil marking from my document and highlight the intended words?

How do I get the properties to stay on a tool bar so I can easily adjust without have to continuously draw, then right click, then edit

Hey Taylor!

Thank you for reaching out and hope you are doing well.

As I understand, you wish to keep the properties window to stay on the screen so you can make the changes without using the right-click option every time.

You may try using the shortcut key Ctrl+E to open the Properties tool window that will be available on-screen.

Check if that works for you.

Let us know if that helps or if you are referring to something else.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
