My Acrobat Pro is missing the predefinded profiles. While trying to find them, I created the Custom Profiles which I don't want. How do get the predefined profiles? It's handy for converting pdfs to CMYK or grayscale.

I find the same issue in my wife's office PC running Windows 10. I solve the issue by importing Preflight profiles. Go to "Option" for preflight and select for "Import Preflight Profile". A new window will be opened to select the path, then use this path "Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\plug_ins\Preflight" and find "Default.kfp. It will bring back all the missing default profiles.

Thanks for this, Once and Future!
To save a search: %APPDATA%\Adobe\Acrobat\Preflight Acrobat Continuous
Fixing the Pre-Flight installer would be a good priority. It has legal applications. If there's a time crunch this is an especially undesirable bug.

Thanks for sharing the missing files. Can you advise where on the system they need to be replaced please?

Sure thing. DaveAM gives this information two posts above: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/preflight-predefined-profiles-missing/m-p/1357474...

Link is working as of 3-20-23.
The process is to download the compressed (zip) file from once-and-future's dropbox link above.
Extract the folder from the file to a memerable location like your desktop.
- The folder will be named "Preflight Acrobat Continuous"
Copy: %APPDATA%\Adobe\Acrobat\Preflight Acrobat Continuous
Paste into your File Explorer navigation window, hit enter.
Copy or Move the extracted folder to the location in File Explorer.
- There is a folder with that name already. That is the folder with the missing files.
When the Copy or Move is performed, Windows will offer to merge with the existing folder. (Do that.)
I can't remember if you need to do anything to get the files to recognize. If so, it was only the import process in Preflight - import the repositories in the default folder at %AppData%\Adobe\Acrobat\Preflight Acrobat Continuous\Preflight Acrobat Continuous\Repositories\Default
If that still doesn't work, goto the Apps menu, right click on Adobe, select "uninstall". That will bring up the Programs and Features interface (in won't uninstall adobe), select Adobe Acrobat, and Change. Then run the repair. It can take a bit due to downloading a bunch of files from Adobe.
Thanks again to once-and-future for the post above with the dropbox link!
Still not sure why Adobe hasn't provided a fix or a link for the files.

Thanks! Link is still working and this was the only thing that helped. It's funny how we have two PC's running Windows 11, both have exact same version of Acrobat installed. My PC was having Preflight issues while the other one was perfectly fine.
