Hello Alex!

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro does not have a color picker tool (like a "pipette" or "eyedropper") that allows users to pick a color directly from the document for drawing or annotations. In Acrobat, when you use tools like "Draw Free Form" (Pencil tool) or "Comment" (e.g., Highlight, Shapes), you can choose a colour manually, but you cannot sample a colour from the PDF itself.

As a workaround, use the Eyedropper Tool: Open the image in Adobe Acrobat. Select the "Comment" tool from the toolbar. Use the "Eyedropper" tool to pick the color from the image.
Apply the Color: After selecting the color, use the drawing tools (e.g., pencil, highlighter) to draw on the document with the chosen color. Save your document to retain the changes made with the selected color.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
