Prepare Form Signature

Hi All,

 

I've created a form in inDesign & imported into Acorbat, used the 'Prepare From' function which worled really well identitfying all the fields correctly.

 

However, the signature boxes don't work on a PC or android device but do on an Apple, by selecting the box which brings a pop-up to 'Configure Digital ID'. See screenshot attached. I just wondered if I had missed somethign & how I can get this to work across all other devices?

    Is there anyone out there that can help with my issue... I've got a client breathing down my neck for a solution but I can't seem to find a work-around for this problem. If anyone can help I'd be extremely grateful.

    Hi Try,

    This document is going to be hosted on a clients website & needs to be signed by people on various devices. I'm not looking to sign this myself. I need to be able to find a solution that allows the document to be signed by anyone on different devices, whether that's a tablet or a desktop device. Do you know if this is possible?

    Digital signature fields will not work on mobile devices, but should certainly work on a Windows machine. However, it all depends on what viewer you're using to open the file. If you open it inside a browser window, for example, all bets are off. You should save the file locally and then open it using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader for it to work correctly.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reponse. The form is for a client & being used as a digital & wet signature form (downloaded & signed with a pen) so I really need this for to work everywhere no matter where it is viewed/device or downloaded to.

    If you have any adviceor help with this that would be great.
