How can I set a default view for myself such that clicking on a bookmark does not require me to change the zoom back to the what I previously had every time?

Correct answer JR Boulay

You don't need a script to change the zoom of all bookmarks.

Select all: right-click: Properties.

If there are a bunch of sub-bookmarks you will have to first open all the branches for that to work, though...

That depends on the bookmark. Some programs set the zoom level but most inherit the zoom (leave the current zoom level untouched).

I don't know if a global change to the zoom is scriptable or not...
