how can I print/copy selected pages from a pdf document to make a stand alone document/file?

I want to copy some pages from a larger document to form a stand alone document but can't find a way in pro DC.

Correct answer Test Screen Name

On no account print a PDF to a PDF, even if it seems to work! In Acrobat Pro DC go to the Organise Pages tool and use the Extract Pages function. This makes a new document, ready for you to save.

It's your choice. And remember, it's working on an open document, so it's also your choice whether to save the original.

Thank you but if I extract pages does that remove from original or copy from original?
