Hello Community,
We are having an issue with the latest update of Adobe Acrobat.
The latest version is unable to Print to all Printers of the Manufacturer "OKI", or using the OKI Universal Print Driver latest version 1.8.0 on a Print Server. Clients recieve the issue " The document could not be Printed" and all whats printed is blank pages. This issue only affects the latest version of adobe and OKI Printers. All other applications and printers work fine.
Can we have a support rep have a look at this issue as this is affecting a lot of our clients.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20142 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that works for you.
Regards
Amal

Hello Amal,
thank you for the quick response.
We are running the latest releease:
I havel alread tried all of the options from the Help Page, to no avail.
The issue is still there, all Print Drivers are current and up-to-date.
The interesting part is that this issue only affects Adobe. Any other tools like Edge, Word, Excel, & co has no issues printing.

Having the same issue on my c931; just loaded the newest version of Adobe on my Windows 10 machine. Considering the hefty price tag of my adobe membership, it is very frustrating to not be able to print: my business is DEAD in the water if I cannot print. Please tell me there has been some progress since your last update of this thread several months ago. Thanks

Basically, everything else on Adobe works except the print fx to the c931. Microsoft Edge prints just fine: I do my stuff in Adobe and go to Edge for the printing piece: a work-around, if kinda lame to have to do, but it works.

We are still having the same issues, its pretty obvius by now that Adobe is unwilling to assist or fix this issue.
I have provided numerous logs, traces and support requests, all to no avail.
It is literally only Adobe Acrobat that is having this issue in Combination with that Printer Manufactutrer.
Edge, PDF24 & co all work without any issues.

Hi,
I am having the same problem. Latest Win11 (with all updates), latest Acrobat, latest OKI PRO1050 drivers and firmware. When I am working on acrobat 9.5 there is no such problem.

We're running Acrobat 2022 and print daily to our beloved (and aging) OKI C931 without problems. Running on Windows 10 and 11 workstations.
Which OKI driver are you using, PCL or PostScript? That might make a difference. We print exclusively with OKI's PostScript driver for the C931.
And are you running your projects through a Fiery server? If so, check for updates.
See OKI drivers at https://www.oki.com/us/printing/support/drivers-and-utilities/

Hi we are leveraging a Microsoft Windows Print Server, a Server 2022 VM running Print Services.
As we manage a whole fleet of OKI Printers, we deployed the OKI Universal Print Driver that is compatible with many models instead of managing lots of printer specific models. They are also Signed and Packaged which makes deployment a breeze.

We are having the same issue here at work. Hopefully Adobe can get the print functions fixed and we can get back up and running again!

FYI the Tools function does not offer any options, nor does it open on our desktop program. All other drop down lists work fine. Tools does not.

Sorry, no idea what you mean by "Tools function" or Tools drop down list. Screen shot?

Hi there
We have bought an OKI pro9431 and printing from Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is very slow.
The same file printed on the RICOH MP C3003 PS on the same network is 20seconds where the OKI takes 3 minutes.
We have downloaded the latest drivers. We are on Apple Macs with Ventura OS 13.4.1.
The OKI customer help line tells us this has to do with Adobe and will not help further.
Does someone know what to do ?

Rather than print directly from InDesign, trying exporting to a PDF/X print/press PDF and then printing from Acrobat.
This will reduce the amount of data processed by the printer.

Thank you Bevi, we'll try with a pdf. It might not be enough to get our workflow up to speed (most of our proof reading is on paper), but it'll be an improvement.
