Print option "Adobe Acrobat" replaced by "Microsoft print to pdf"

Community Beginner ,

Hello !

I have a problem with the print settings with Acrobat DC: when I want to print a pdf file, regardless of the software used, the print option "Acrobat pdf" has disappeared and has been replaced by the option "Microsoft print to pdf". The problem is that the Microsoft print to pdf printing module does not have the options I need. Do you know how to restore the print option that uses the Adobe Acrobat module directly?

Thank you for your help!

Hi Owlet_I_T_

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the  "Acrobat pdf" has disappeared and has been replaced by the option "Microsoft print to pdf"

++ Adding to the suggestion by try67

Are you referring to the Adobe PDF option on the printer list? If yes, please try to repair the installation (For Windows Only) as suggested. Go to Help > Repair Installation and see if that helps.

If it still doesn't work, please try to update the application to the latest version available (20.006.20042) Go to Help > Check for Updates

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool (https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html), Reboot the Computer, Reinstall the application using the link (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/acrobat-downloads.html)

If it still doesn't work, please try to install the printer manually as described in the help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/add-pdf-printer-manually.html)

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Regards

Amal

I've repaired the installation using the menu, and now it works : the adobe pdf option is back.
I have another question about pdf exporting with In Design, but I will ask it into the corresponding place in this forum.

Thank you for your answer!
