Hi there! I see quite a few posts on printing being super slow from Acrobat, but I didn't quite find a solution.

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC v 2021.001.20145

Printing to an Epson SureColor P600 - driver updated, ink cartridges full

My file is 975 Kb - color header, black text

From the advanced tab in Acrobat, I've tried:

  • Print as image at 300 dpi (output super low-quality and colors off, including
  • Print as image at 150 dpi
  • Setting the printer to handle color management
  • Using Acrobat color management
  • Printing in grayscale

I've also tried just using Preview on my Mac and run into the same problem. 😕😕 At this point, I'd rather just retype the document and print it. I appreciate any help!

Without a sample PDF file exhibiting this problem, it is virtually impossible for anyone here to assist. The fact that the PDF file also prints very slowly from Preview would be indicative of a PDF file with quite a bit of detail and graphical complexity; the file size itself doesn't necessary translate to speed of printing.

Attach the file (or one with similar print issues) and maybe we can assist.

Oops - guess I didn't finish a sentence. (output super low-quality and colors off, including blacks - they're printing pinkish, even when I don't select grayscale).
