Hi everybody,

Is there a way to print a PDF with Acrobat with a background or watermark?

I know how to add a background or watermark to a PDF file but that's just not an option for me.

I went throug all the options in the Adobe PDF printer but i couldn't find anything.

Thank you in advance.

Sasha

Hi Sasha,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please confirm if you are trying to add the watermark in the PDF or printing the PDF with the watermark added?

If you are trying the PDF with watermark, please check the options under Comments & Forms in the Print window.

If you are referring that background to be automatically inserted when you create PDF by printing to PDF, it is not possible.

Let us know if you are referring to somehting else.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

I was referring to the second choice, not possible.

How can this be? Shouldn't this be like a standard option in printing documents to PDF?

Our goal is to create invoces and send them out by e-Mmil (automated for sure). I know there's other Software out there that supports this.

Thanks,

Sasha

Why not add the watermark in the original file, before converting it to PDF?

Also, what you can do, is use the Action Wizard (if you have Acrobat Pro) to apply the same watermark to multiple files at once.
