Following issue:

I have an image (screenshot) pasted into Word

When printing to PDF the quality of the text is reduced - it is slightly blurred, so to say.

In the default print settings I have changed the downsample settings, as per below.

Regretfully this does not help.

I might use "Press Quality" instead of 'Standard'.

The quality is correct, i.e. it is exactly the same as in the Word document.

However ...

In Word, the document was displayed landscape - both text and paper are in landscape.

The PDF print however, the text is landscape, but the page display is, so I need to turn the page 90 degr. (in view, turn clockwise)

As said, the quality is perfect, but the page display is portrait.

A few questions:

a. how to have "Press Quality" output the same as input (i.e. no need to turn page clockwise)

b. how to have "Standard" print without distortion

c. how to set the papersize to A4 by default?

(right now it is always set to Letter and it seems to change back to letter each time)

thanks!

later...

I just realize ... maybe it has something to do with the issue I had before

Papersize within Acrobat being different from the papersize set in the printer properties
