printing looks like the paper got wet

When I print a document it looks like there are watermarks, actually wet spots—very lightly in the entire document. When I look at it on the screen, the background is exactly the it is supposed to be.  A clean white background. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 64 bit 2023.003.20201

Atttched are two documents that look fine on my screen but print with a very light marks all over the paper.
