Printing upside down

I have a PDF. I insert a signature and want to 'lock it in' without getting fancy so I print it to PDF. No matter what settings I use, it flips upside down. How do I stop that?

What flips upside down? Your signature? Or the whole file including the signature?

    The entire document. If I print it portrait it turns 90 degrees counterclockwise. If I print it landscape, it flips upside down.

      Does that happen also with other documents? Like a page of a user manual? What happens when you print the unmodified document?

      How do you insert the signature?
