Hi,

I have an issue with one of my pdf files.

I view it perfectly in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe reader but when I want to print the file every checkboxes are empty.

I just don't know why it happens.

Could you please tell me if I have to modify anything in the file or in my print config to see the box correctly ?

My computer : PC Windows 10 with Adobe reader DC 17.9.20044.222436 and Adobe Acrobat Pro (last version)

Printers : tested on a Lexmark MS623 and with PDFCreator

The file tested : https://lsddownload.logista.com/Download/GetDirect?accountId=sharebox&documentId=f42f4853-6f69-4eb6-a1f4-6c2837b2631b&Si…

Apparently, my provider who is working with mac doens't have any problem with the same file.

Thanks in advance.

In Adobe Acrobat DC:

  • Use Tools > Prepare Form
  • Double mouse click on the checkbox
  • Change the name

Open PDF in Acrobat DC using "Prepare Form" tool. Right-click on the checkbox, select "properties" and under the "general" tab and click on the "Form Field" drop-down box in the "Common Properties" box near the bottom. Change the selection in the From Field drop-down box to "Visible".

Hi Caroline,

I'm having little time to check upon your problem, but I can confirm your findings. The checkboxes are not printed. But I have also strange behaviour of the checkboxes. Which let's me think that the form is not quite state of the art.

As you mention your provider: what program does he use?

Well, they use Acrobat pro but I don't know which version exactly. Hopefully the last one.

You're sure about Acrobat Pro?
