Problem with editing in french

The problem is that when I try to edit some text, it is not display what I edited. Even if I delete the text and start again with a new text, the display is not showing the rendering. For instance, If I put "(Adhésion gratuite)" as you see clearly, what I have is:

 

The editor seems to not recognize french charaters, or there is other problems with the editor. What to do?

Donc, si je reprends la page au complet (vierge), cela devrait s'améliorer ?

    Ce n'est pas lié au français, ça fait pareil dans toutes les langues.

    C'est lié à la façon dont le PDF a été fait (avec quel logiciel et quels paramètres).

    J'utilise Adobe Acrobate Pro (en essais). Si c'est la solution, je préfère refaire le PDF au complet, plutôt que faire des changements d'un PDF établi dont l'affichage est incorrect.
