Herewith I want to record that my Adobe Acrobat Pro, version 2024.003.20112|64 bits (see the enclosed sysinfo.txt file) does not print the enclosed PDF-file properly with respect to the thickness of the lines in the 16 figures. These are much too thick. See the enclosed photo, below.
Earlier, I used Adobe Reader XI, version 11.0.08, and that piece of software lets print this PDF-file correctly.
My PDF-file was generated by a LaTeX interpretator (Scientific Word). I enclose the log-file.
On the screen both Adobe software apps (the Pro and the Reader version) showed the file correctly.

Any suggestions welcome!

Sorry for the troubling experience, @Ed Veling

Have you had a chance to run the diagnostic tool so you can share the logs with us as suggested by @Chetan23677088sx52

I just runned the diagnostic tool and shared the logs.

I included the PDF-file with the figure that produces the thick lines in the print.

I included also the EPS-file that was included in the LaTeX-document which was the source fotr the PDF-file.

Hi @Ed Veling

Sorry for the delayed response.

Can you share the file with us? If you want to share privately, upload the file to any cloud drive, generate a downloadable link, or click on my profile "Avatar." There will be a blue button "Message." Please share the link.

Also, try opening the file in Google Chrome and try printing it. I tried printing the document on my end and it seems to be working fine

Once you reproduce it again on your end, try running the diagnostic tool as suggested earlier and sharing the log ID.

Hi @Ed Veling,

Would you mind letting us know if the line weightage is less than a pixel?

We aren't able to reproduce the issue at our end, and would like to know more on it. Will it be possible to share the source file from Latex?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Souvik,

I made a very simple document with just one graph, so all files are relatively simple.

Herewith, I upload the EPS-file (/BLOCK_TEST_02-10-2024_11u30_rho=10.eps) with the graph, the LaTeX-file (BLOCK-TEST-ADOBE.tex (renamed x.tex.doc, which is just a txt-file) which is processed by the LaTeX-program to produce the file BLOCK-TEST-ADOBE.pdf.

Moreover, I include two photo's with the file BLOCK-TEST-ADOBE.pdf on the screen and as printed, using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024.004.20272 | 64 bits. I do not have the source code of the LaTeX-program which produces the pdf-file.  On the screen everything is correct, but printed, the lines are too thick.

Yours sincerely, Ed Veling

Thanks @Ed Veling for sharing the files.

I tried reproducing this on my end, but couldn't.

Any specific information around it would be helpful:

1. A screenshot of the print settings you use when printing the file;

2. Are you printing it directly from Acrobat?

3. Please help us gather the logs from your machine: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-diagnostics.html. Please make sure Procmon is selected. You can upload logs using this tool and share your Unique log ID with us.
